Search your phone by name or model number above. Each record shows the security-support end date, whether it comes directly from the manufacturer or is calculated from its published policy, and the exact model and region it covers.
Security updates fix newly found vulnerabilities, usually monthly or quarterly. OS upgrades move the device to a new Android or iOS version. Manufacturers often stop OS upgrades before security updates, so DevLifeCheck records the two dates separately.
It keeps working, but newly discovered flaws may stay unfixed. After support ends, avoid banking, work accounts and sensitive data on the device, keep apps updated, and plan a replacement.
Carrier and regional variants can have different model numbers and update schedules. DevLifeCheck ties every date to an exact model and region, so match the model number in your phone's settings before relying on a date.
It varies widely: recent Google Pixel and Samsung Galaxy flagships have seven-year policies, many budget phones get two to four years, and some brands publish no end date at all. Compare brand policies on the brand pages.
Check major-version eligibility separately from security-support dates. Every list distinguishes official announcements, schedules, beta and policy expectations.
