What this status means for Galaxy S24 FE
Galaxy S24 FE is covered by the manufacturer's seven-year support commitment. The displayed cutoff is policy-derived and regional delivery can vary.
What this Galaxy S24 FE record covers
Listed model identifiers: SM-S721B. Listing an identifier does not establish shared lifecycle coverage.
Recorded model and region: SM-S721B; International Samsung release channel. Apply each support date, firmware release or repair fact only to the identifiers and regions named in its cited source.
Variants marked for separate lifecycle review: SM-S721B. Match each variant to its own cited lifecycle evidence before applying a support date.
Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S10+ share the same recorded release and security-support horizon. Those products remain separate because their marketed identity and model boundary differ; a shared policy date is not evidence that firmware, recalls or repair records are interchangeable. The displayed interval spans about 84 months from the recorded release event and retains month date precision.
No exact EPREL registration is approved for this record, so DevLifeCheck does not borrow an EU repairability score or battery result from a related model.

Sale and cloud-service evidence
- End of sale
- Not documented · Official source reviewed; date not publishedReviewed 2026-10-14 against Samsung Newsroom's cited lifecycle record. It does not publish a separate model-specific end-of-sale date for this record; the date remains undocumented and is not inferred from software-support end.

1 exact model-and-channel release is documented in the verified cards above. Use the model code and CSC shown there; these records do not establish one global latest build.
Recall and safety screening
DevLifeCheck monitors CPSC, Safety Gate, UK OPSS, Health Canada. A monitored feed is not itself a “no recall” finding; dated device-specific results are listed separately below.
No exact marketed-name or model-code match found in the CPSC recall dataset as of 2026-09-04. This US-only name screening is not proof that no recall exists; check the exact model, carrier and local regulator.
Recalls & Product Safety Warnings · United States · checked Sep 2026 ↗Repairability and battery
No model-specific repairability score or official battery-service cutoff has been reviewed for this record yet. Check the manufacturer's regional repair channel before buying parts or assuming service availability.
Each card shows only the facts published by its cited source. Do not compare iFixit scores, manufacturer playback estimates and EU-label measurements as if they used the same test.
Update cadence
Monthly. Checked 8 September 2026; Samsung may change this schedule, and carrier or regional delivery can differ.
Known limitations and conflicts
Policy dates can conflict with carrier schedules, regional product-security statements and the exact hardware variant. No additional conflict has been approved for this record; that means “not documented,” not “none exist.”
Repair or replace factors
Keep automatic updates enabled and verify the exact regional model before a used-device purchase.
- Support horizon: security support is recorded through Oct 2031.
- Evidence certainty: this is a policy-derived record with month precision.
- Software visibility: Check the verified model-and-channel release cards above. A documented build for one channel is not a worldwide latest-version claim.
- Repair data: no comparable model-specific repairability record is approved yet, so repair cost and parts availability must be checked separately.
Longer-supported catalog records
These records have a later documented security-support horizon. Same-brand records are preferred when the catalog has enough matches. Price, form factor and availability are not yet compared, so these are not purchase recommendations.

How long will Galaxy S24 FE get security updates?
Galaxy S24 FE is expected to get security updates until Oct 2031 — about 5 years from now. The date is calculated from the manufacturer's published update policy, so treat it as a planning horizon rather than a guaranteed last patch.
